Right then and there I impulsively bought the book and decided to blog about the phrases here. I know it isn't nutrition sciene, but my work is nutrition science and the power of reaching for our higher power to live our best life ever, whatever that looks like for the individual. When we feel good, we make healthier choices in all areas of our lives. When we make healthier choices in our lives, we have hormonal, emotional, and physical blending that seems to be a flow. I want to flow!! don't you?
Here is the quote of the day from Dr. Seuss:
"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
You have to be your own champions, my friends. "Toot your own horn," my mother used to say. If you do not persevere and show how awesome you are, care enough to do your very best, nobody will give you the time and attention you deserve. Now, this is by no means a permission slip for bragging, boasting, and flat out being full of yourself. It is a different kind of being full of yourself. Be so naturally and completely full of your deepest self, followed up by action and attention to your intentions, that folks have to sit up and take notice. We all know and feel instinctively when someone walks into a party and all eyes turn to them. There is an energy, a humming just under the surface that exudes confidence and love, self esteem intact, self worth and self love exuding from every pore. They may not be beautiful, but they are...fully present and joyful. We all have experienced this at some point in our lives.
Have you ever thought that you are that person who cares a whole awful lot, so much that you glow, so much that you can change the world?
I want to hear from you!
Blessings,
KJ Landis
