Reflections on the tree, well, that is a result of Sage, my daughter wanting a tree in her room, since we do not have a livingroom any longer. What a great idea. It brings the family into her sacred sanctuary, which she painted white this summer. The rest of the house is completely orange, red, and yellow. I placed the ornaments on the tree a few days ago with Sage, Golden, my son, and his friend David. David's family is from China originally, so they do not participate in the Christmas traditions that we do. They also do not participate in the Chanukah traditions that we do. I always invite my kids' friends over to celebrate diversity and rituals. It was so much fun!
I am truly blessed, and am grateful for my friends on the internet who support me in many ways, with words, prayers, and encouragement. What a year of blessings. I published another book, and gained greater health. What a year of deaths in my family, and I am grateful for the lessons I have learned throughout my grief process. Connection creates community. Community is a way to see how we are all one, in the biggest picture. Go up higher, get out of the box, and see there are no limits to your possibilities, my sweet friends!
I want to hear from you!
In Gratitude,
KJ Landis
