In 2017, we will see the trend towards a grain free, unprocessed real foods consumption to continue.
In my workshops on living holistic wellness, we focus first on nutrient dense, easily absorbed foods. In 2017, the interest in home made, fermented foods will continue. In my home, we have been substituting bok choy for kale in a lot of fun preparations, including bok choy chips! I think this will be the next superfood to hit the media circuit.
In these modern times folks are educating themselves about their own wellness and taking self care, rather than relying on health care. With the internet and published, real clinical studies, regular folks have the opportunity to discover nutritional truths for themselves.
In the coming year, we will see more restorative movement studios open up all over the USA. People are becoming increasingly aware of the need for balance and blending different parts of their lives together. Restorative movement like yoga, pilates, tai chi, meditation, etc. push the reset button.
In 2017, as a health community, we are moving towards a healing perspective rather than pushing everything to its limits.
Blessings,
KJ Landis
