My clients ask me the question all the time so I have to be creative in my approach. Besides walking, hiking, and taking the stairs when one can, I like passive muscle contraction when in the car. At a red light, I encourage my clients to tighten their buttocks for as long as they can and as hard as they can. At the next red light, tighten the lower abdomen as tight and long as one can. Alternating the exercises as one goes through their commute is a great way to be mindful of our body parts and the work they do for us.
The buttocks support our legs and back, helping us lift, jump, reach, and more. The abdomen supports the internal organs and spine. Healthy spine, healthy life!
I hope this helps you.
Sincerely,
