I say find a sounding board. Someone who you trust will listen carefully to the pros and cons of each temptation. Then make a decision that is not impulsive, but well thought out. Sometimes that is not possible, or necessary when it's food or drink that is not on your program. We have to think on our feet, and clench our fists. We must walk away! And really, sometimes we need a treat. If we plan the treat, it is not a cheat. It is a well planned out conscious decision without regrets.
