Last night my sweet husband asked me to try to take the marble from the palm of his hand. I reached over and quick as a flash he closed his fist. We did this a few times . I kept saying, "I'm trying!"
Exactly. Are you trying or are you doing? Trying led to more trying. Doing may have led me to completing the task. When I hear people (including myself) say they are trying to ________,
I am reminded of the game my husband and I played. The thoughts and words we have are so powerful that we may talk ourselves into success...or not. The gift is that we have the free will to choose every time. Change our language, change our mind, change our outcome. This works with our food choices, our willpower, our life goals, our wellness, our never ending to-do lists in our busy lives. I invite you to DO YOU.
Do you TRY or DO?
Blessings,
